Satzmelodie started in August, 2006 when Fabricio Nigris (Guitar) and Alvaro Gutierrez (Bass) met in Leipzig, Germany. They focused on creating an open and innovative feeling of the latinoamerican folklore using jazz colours and textures. This chat of friends selects melodies and rhythms to play around an atmosphere where the improvisation will transport us to remotes places of Latino-America.
